Refund policy

Return & Exchange Policies:

We will assist you with any warranty claims and it most cases we do not charge any fees for doing so aside from a delivery or exchange fee if we are asked to do so. 

If you have a true claim, we will fight for you to get your claim but it is 100% up to the discretion of the manufacturer. It is rare, however that we see a claim denied that meets all the guildlines. 
 

Warranty Types:

Non-Prorated Warranty

  • Mattresses with this warranty type are covered by the manufacturer at 100% cost of replacement, for the entire duration of the warranty length.

 

Prorated Warranty

  • This type of warranty does not cover a full factory replacement.

 

For example:

If your product is covered by a 10 year prorated; to exchange in year #3, the manufacturer would cover a total of 70% of the replacement costs, leaving the customer liable to pay the remaining 30%.

Each year accounts for 10% coverage. In year #1, the manufacturer covers 100% of replacements. Year #10 will only allot 10% value to the price to exchange for a brand new model.

 



Standard Exchange Policy:

We do not allow any refunds for opened or used merchandise, especially mattresses. 

101 Night Sleep Trial Policy:

  • First night starts upon delivery date or pickup date. 
  • We allow ONE exchange only for another model of similar or lesser value.
  • We do NOT allow a return/refund, this policy is intended to get you with the proper mattress and we cannot do so if not given the chance. 
  • We may be willing to give store credit or credit towards other items, minus any free services/bonus gifts received (sleep bundles & delivery fees are the most common as these are not truly free services/items)
  • We will allow you to change brands (you can exchange a Puffy for a Helix or vice versa)
  • ALL STAINS void sleep trial
  • In most cases we will not charge any restocking fee or a fee to exchange (only applies to premium brands with the sleep trial)
  • If customer received a sleep bundle for their first bed, they will not receive a second bundle. 
  • LIMIT of ONE exchange allowed per sleep trial newly (exchanged mattress does not receive a new sleep trial)

What is not covered:

  • Returning items due to a change in personal preference after the exchange grace period. It’s your responsibility as a customer to take your time and choose an item you’ll love months & years down the line, we are not liable for cases which individuals simply change their minds.
  • Mattresses with visible stains automatically void the manufacturer’s warranty, in addition to Mattress Doctor’s complimentary in-house satisfaction guarantee.
  • Dips and impressions not greater than 3 inches in depth are not covered by warranty. In this case, the manufacturer suggests waiting until the product has a full 3″ dip.
